Director of Program Operations

James Gonzalez is the Director of Program Operations at the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County. He has been with the organization since February 2019. In his role, James helps in overseeing and supporting the housing experience, he works with clients navigating the housing process, with landlords to identify properties that are willing to work with our programs and is responsible for an overall positive experience in our programs. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, James holds a degree in Psychology from Texas A&M and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston. Outside of work James likes to spend time with his wife Carrie – who is a social worker and has worked in the system with adjacent partners – and their two dogs.
