Director of Compliance

Krysta Harvey is the Director of Compliance at the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County. She has been with the organization since July 2022. In her role, Krysta supports the Homeless Response System to operate in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations while maximizing the use of available resources and minimizing risk. She is passionate about improving population health by addressing one of the most basic social determinants – a safe place to live. Previously, Krysta managed community health projects at Kearny County Hospital in rural southwest Kansas. Originally from Garden City, Kansas, Krysta holds a BA in History from Kansas State University and a Master’s in Public Health from Dartmouth. Outside of work she enjoys creative writing, pursuing holistic wellness, and learning how to support sustainable, equitable communities.
